Veronica Horton, born and raised in Forest Lake, Minnesota, is an accomplished writer with a passion for storytelling. After living in different states, she returned to Minnesota, where she now resides. Horton has delighted friends and family with her poetry and short stories over the years. Her standout short story, ‘Tap-Dancing to Sixteen Tons,’ was featured on NPR’s ‘All Things Considered’ in 2012. An advocate as well, she collaborated with the American Heart Association on a heartfelt video for the ‘Go Red for Women’ campaign.
